WILD FORAGED GREENS AND BACKYARD SPRING FAVOURITES
When Spring arrives so do wild edible greens.
Hunt for edible wild plants, learn about medicinal flora you can grow at home, taste and explore some backyard favourites plants from our very own local forager Jo from Quarter Acre Farm
Enjoy a wild tea infusion on arrival. We will walk around the village of Berrima identifying and harvesting wild edible greens such as wood sorrel, plantains and flat weed. We will show you how to clean and prepare these before tasting in a poached chicken or grilled salmon salad alongside some delights from Jo’s Garden and a glass of local cool climate wine.
Learn about wild food, enjoy the Spring sunshine as you explore Berrima River Walk, make new friends, and a light lunch.
