COASTAL FORAGE IS BACK IN 2025

Positioned over 5-6km of stunning NSW beach and trails along the Jervis Bay coastline, Coastal Forage is a culinary showcase of local food, wine and produce from Shoalhaven. Held on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September 2025, our guests will spend 2-3 hours meandering between 10 food stations and feeling the sand between their toes. This is the ultimate way to indulge in a 10-course tasting lunch whiles meeting local chefs, producers and makers, learning about the flora and fauna as the marine environment of Jervis Bay.

We begin our walk at Moona Moona Creek Reserve with groups of 20-25 people departing every 10-15 mins. You move from food station to food station for about 2.5-3 hours until you reach the end at Plantation Point. You can then jump on our boat, back to your car.

We are delighted to confirm that long terms forage partners Bangalay Dining, Blackhen Kitchen and Trolleyd will be back on the sand with some new local faces like Paperbark Camp, Old Salt Distillery, Appellation Oysters and more.

The beach and track is almost completely flat, so it’s suitable for all fitness levels.

Just choose your start time and bring some friends or meet new ones on the day. Parking at Moona Moona Creek Reserve is included in the price. On the day you simply go to our registration desk for your glass and booklet to begin your coastal foodie adventure.

ABOUT Shoalhaven and Jervis Bay

The Shoalhaven sits around 200km south of Sydney and encompasses the glorious south coastal towns from Berry to Duruss and inland through to Kangaroo Valley and includes Nowra and Ulladulla. The area has over 100 beautiful beaches and is home to a number of National Parks including Jervis Bay and the famous Morton and Booderee National Parks. Our starting point Moona Moona Creek Reserve is located near the coastal towns of Vincentia and Huskisson.

We will tell the story, through food and wine, of this beautiful marine area. From the remote reaches of Morton National Park to the cool climate mountain villages and rolling green hills of the highlands that host Fitzroy Falls and the Minnamurra Rainforest, down the hilly terrain of Mt Conjola through to the coastal regions including Seven Mile Beach all with access to fresh seafood from the ocean.

Jervis Bay is a spectacular location that offers guests the opportunity to explore the crystal blue waters of Jervis Bay Marine Park that are a haven for migrating whales, bottlenose dolphins, fur seals, little penguins, sea dragons and birds as you sample fresh local seafood and paddock to plate specialities of the region with some great local Australian wine.

Cost  | 10 course degustation $225 per person.

Saturday 13  September 2025 is now on sale. Please also note that this is an over 18 years event and we are unable to manage dietary requirements.

We recommend flat shoes that cover your feet like trainers,  or even covered thongs and sandals, and whilst its flat sand is an unmodified natural surface.
